Do not upload any photo or video that may contain Sensitive Nuclear Information (SNI) or security-sensitive material. Check the frame — including backgrounds, reflections and screens — before attaching.
The following must never appear in an attachment:
ECDIS, radar and navigation displays — screens showing position, route, waypoints or AIS data
Security cameras and CCTV — camera positions, coverage arcs, monitors or recordings
Security systems and access control — locks, keypads, card readers, alarm panels, citadel arrangements
Cargo, cargo securing and hold arrangements — flasks, stowage plans, securing details
Communications and IT/OT equipment — radio rooms, servers, network cabinets, control system screens
Armed response and security personnel or equipment — including weapons stowage
Documents on view — the Ship Security Plan, voyage or escort details, muster and manning lists
If in doubt, leave it out — describe it in words instead, or ask the SSO / Master before photographing. Attachments are reviewed before any fleet sharing, but the responsibility not to capture SNI starts with the camera.
